Lara Tahm is a German music producer, vocalist and music blogger. „Tahm“ derives from the Estonian word for ’soot‘. It describes a fine-grained, black-coloured substance consisting mainly of carbon, formed by incomplete combustion of organic substances. At the same time, it illustrates the artist’s constant need to explore emotions and topics in all shades in order to understand the world in a deep, drenching context. Currently, Tahm resides in Helsinki and studies musicology at the University of Helsinki. Her debut single „Shine“ will be released by the end of May.
